CARMEN is a virtual laboratory for neurophysiology - enabling collaborative exploitation of data, analysis code and expertise.

Purpose

CARMEN delivers interactivity to groups of researchers via a portal, allowing users to upload data, web services and workflows and appropriately describe them with standards-compliant metadata to enable sharing and searching amongst collaborating groups.

Services uploaded to CARMEN can be dynamically deployed to the underlying infrastructure, and data can be shared between multiple sites providing transparent access to off-site resources and data.
